SHISEIDO PERFECT ROUGE LIPSTICK REVIEW
I received two colours from the Shiseido Perfect Rouge lipstick range a while back and am in love with them. The Perfect Rouge range has 15 colours and is meant to be pigmented and hydrating. They go on creamy and are meant to last all day.
I’m always hesitant when a brand says ‘all day’ because that is hardly ever the case, I ALWAYS reapply after a meal because I can’t expect my lipstick to look freshly applied after scoffing down 3 courses of food.
I received shade OR 544 which is a very deep coral shade. It works on me but sin’t something I’d wear everyday and PK417 which is one of my favourite pink shades. I’m not sure why Shiseido doesn’t name these lipsticks in away that is more user friendly, because I can’t deal with these letter and number combinations.
Down to the lipsticks.
I quite like the formula of these, especially PK417 because even after the lipstick wears off it leaves pigment on my lips and I’m left with a nice subtle stain. One coat is enough for a good amount of pigment and shine.
The Perfect Rouge lipstick retails for around R305.
Also, at first I was a little disappointed when I realised I hadn’t adjusted the white balance in these photos, but it really helps to show off how the colours look in different light.
